Gabriela Olaru, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist serving patients at V CARE OB/GYN in the Upper East Side of New York City. She treats women for a spectrum of sexual and reproductive health complications and provides thorough, efficient well-woman exams to adolescents and women of all ages.

Dr. Olaru attended medical school at Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie Victor Babes Facultatea de Medicina in Timișoara, Romania. She then moved to the United States to complete her residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York.

Dr. Olaru has over two decades of experience treating women and helping them better understand their bodies. She primarily serves patients at V CARE OB/GYN and holds affiliation with Lenox Hill Hospital in the Upper East Side of New York City.

On a regular basis, Dr. Olaru performs breast examinations, provides diagnostic services and treatments for ovarian disorders, uterine disorders, menstrual disorders, and more. She uses her skill and expertise to provide surgeries and minimally invasive procedures like sling operations, bilateral tubal sterilization, hysterectomy, and myomectomy.
